President Director

33 years old, married to an Indonesian woman, one child. He has been living in Indonesia since 1995. He lectured literature and civilization in Indonesian universities before to start handling tourists. He is often at the office because of his managerial duties but still gets some time to make researches on the field to give you always more of Indonesia.
He speaks fluently Bahasa Indonesia and Balinese. Canadian and French by origin he is now considered by the Balinese as one of them, since he has been adopted by a Balinese priest and is part of the village life as an official member.

Kadek Dwi Dahlia
Head Secretary

30 years old, married, 2 children. She studied accounting and has now to study how to handle 100 sorts of problems (and always with a smile!). She will be happy to offer you some coffee if you come to the office, but don't think you can have a long chat with her: the phone is already ringing! She does great Balinese food (try to get invited!).

22 years’ old, single. Graduated from Udayana University with a Master degree in Economy and Finance. Great Balinese traditional dancing skills, still looking for the best men in the world.

Thibaud Lenfant
Operational manager

27 years old, single. Graduated from a tourism school. He cares about the well running of the customized tours and divides his time between the office and the field. He is especially in charge of the customized tour activities and their development. Trekking and cycling are his favorites but he doesn’t mind spending some time in a Spa as well.

Nyoman Sujana
Operational supervisor

31 years old, married, 4 children. He is in charge of the transportation logistic and makes sure everything goes round during the tours. He is a very skilled gamelan player and is part of the village orchestra.

32 years old. Single. English speaking guide. Has been working for 2 years with Different Bali Indonesia. His natural elegance and wisdom is well appreciated by our customers. Wide and deep knowledge about Balinese culture. Enjoys nature as well.

Sang Nyoman

34 years old, married, 2 children. English speaking guide. He has been working for DBI since the beginning. He knows every details about our off the beaten track tours. Our customers love his joyful mood and sincere friendship ends up usually after few days spend with him. A small man but strong like a bull! He uses to handle adventure oriented tours.

Dewa

28 years old. Single. English speaking guide. He has been working for DBI since the beginning. He is a very curious person, always happy to learn something new (your language for example, wherever you come from, Germany, Taiwan or France!). His professional self discipline is an example to follow by everybody. Being late just can't happen with a guy like him!

Sukadana

36 years old, married, 2 children. German speaking guide. He has been handling German people for almost 15 years. He knows how to adapt to their special needs. Very patient and concerned about customers wellbeing. He is excited by working with Different Bali Indonesia, which is a big change with the classical travel agencies he worked with previously.

Gede Tamat

32 years old. Married, 2 children. Russian and English speaking guide. He can do anything for you: explain you the meaning of any statue on Bali as well as bring you to the summit of any volcano. He knows a lot about Java and Lombok as well. Great pool player. Loves to be happy.

32 years old. Single, one child. French and English speaking guide. He has lived for 5 years in France. He keeps from it an accurate point of view about western and eastern cultural differences. He speaks great French (impressive knowledge of "slang") and adapts perfectly to western people needs. He handles big families with a lot of "psychology" and "patience". He pleases everybody.

33 years old, married, one child. A driver who can bring you around as well in Java and Lombok than in Bali. Very patient and cautious. He is a brilliant Balinese dancer.

24 years old. Single. French speaking guide. He is specialized in accurate cultural knowledge and explanations. If you want to know just everything about everything you will love this guy! He has been working for DBI for almost one year and starts to get a valuable experience in off the beaten track tours.

25 years old, single. French speaking guide. His gentleness and his cultural knowledge are highly appreciated. He is very active in the village organization and is a good traditional gamelan musician.
